My superpower is cutting through the noise to help solve the challenges blocking your healthcare startup’s success.
What’s yours?
If you don’t know how to answer that yet, don’t worry. That’s part of what I’m here to help you figure out—what makes you uniquely suited to solve the problem at hand. And how to solve that problem while staying true to your North Star values.
I’m Tzvi Doron, a family medicine physician turned healthtech consultant, with additional training and certifications in obesity medicine and clinical lipidology. Here’s a bit about how I got here:
I went to Nova Southeastern University for medical school (graduated in the top 3% of my class), and completed my family medicine residency at Westchester General Hospital in Miami in 2015.
After residency, I worked as a family medicine clinician in a new Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). I built the practice from the ground up, working with Palm Beach County’s neediest, most poverty-stricken population.
While my work with the underserved was incredibly rewarding, I wanted to have a larger impact. I became employee #3 at Ro, one of the first direct-to-consumer telemedicine companies, positioned to reach millions of patients (rather than one patient at a time).
In my 6 years at Ro, I helped build it from pre-revenue to having a $7B valuation. I built the medical arm of the company, leading teams of over 100 people. As Ro’s Chief Clinical Officer, I also sat on the Executive Leadership team, helping guide the company’s strategy.
I learned so much in my time at Ro, chiefly that I love helping early or transitional stage startups grow and build strategically and ethically. I work with a wide range of startups on identifying sticking points, evaluating opportunities for improvement, and building strategies to help them achieve their next level of growth. I combine my clinician-at-heart mentality with a focus on values-based business growth.
